Faded nails

This was the first time experimenting with fading nail polish.
The steps of the process goes:
(I know it's hard to explain steps with out images and that my image isn't as great as I didn't remember to take a proper picture of it...sorry)
1. Paint a bases coat (this protects your nails so very important).
2. One coat of nude nail polish.
3. Squeeze white acrylic paint on a surface (plate) and get some sponge (any kitchen or make-up sponge will do, the different textured sponges will give different results).
4. Create a 'U' shape in one hand between index and thumb and dab into paint.
5. Dab on to some paper so the sponge can absorb some paint and get rid on some excess (do this until it become a little tacky).
6. Dabbing motion apply a little to the edges to each finger tip (this does not need to be perfect on each nail it can get on the edges of your fingers but it's fine, you can clean it with a Q-tip after).
7. Paint another layer of nude nail polish.
8. Paint one layer of fine glitter al over (very small, little glitter polish. I use light pink/silver colour)
9. Paint the bottom half of your nails (the part where you have applied white acrylic paint) with a coat of course glitter (thicker and bigger particle glitter).
10. Apply a final coat of clear nail polish. This step only applies if you are happy and complete the look that I have.
Otherwise feel free to add some crystals or 3D nail art details :D
Have fun trying this out and let me know how it goes :)
