Mni Cupcakes - Full of Little Goodness

Apart from the fact that there were a lot more cupcakes to decorate as they are mini. They were quicker to bake..and well easier to eat :D and can eat a lot more and faster too Mwhahahha...yes I'm rather greedy when it comes to desserts.
The shapes of the cupcakes are lopsided as I didnt have the mini baking tray for them to sit in. But they turned out as yummy and perfect. ^.^

Mr MoMo

I was reunited during the summer with My Mr Momo, the love of my life..
This was one of my teddies as a kid, ad it carries a lot of memories, and now with a new one.

Yes it doesn't have a nose...and yes his ears are lop-sided...and yes he is a bit scruffy. What do you expect from a childhood teddy!!! And I still love him because he's cute. <3

Glitter Pink Bow

I done this not too long go actually...sorry for posting up old things that I've been doing but I think it shows how much I move on from testing different things..Right? :S

Anyway here is what I did:
1. Paint a bases coat (this protects your nails so very important).
2. This step is optional as you can leave it as a clear base coat (as I have done in the picture). One coat of nude nail polish or whatever base colour you would like.
3. Paint a coat of glitter nail polish ( I used Silver and it was a mix of small and big glitter parts). and of course leave to dry.
4. I used this 3D nail art 'cane' or 'rod' (this can be purchased on ebay as I'm told. But I got mine form Hong Kong :D) Cut slices of the cane and stick using a good amount of clear nail polish (You could use nail glue, but I would not recommend using super-glue or similar adhesive as it would damage your nails.
5. Leave to dry and put on a final coat of clear nail polish.
and Finito :D Your pretty glittery pink bowed nails :)

Cupcakes full of Goodnessss :)

I made these as part of a University project. It was for a poster design based on addiction and Mine has been gradually been cupcakes...especially self-made and decorated ones :D

Nail Art Stamp 2

Once again I experimented with this technique in 2009 October last year.

This design is created by using the Nail Art stamping and metal plate technique. I'm sure if you google it or put it into youtube, you'll find loads of tutorials.

I used Metallic Blue as a base colour and black for the stars.

Let me know what you think. :)

I used Metallic Royal Purple as a base colour and black for the circles.

5th December 2009

My first tattoo on my left rib, Before I got this I was told that I was brave as it is know to be one of the places that hurt the most.
But I was laughing through out the process o.O"

The tat says "wherever you are you will always remain here with me"
Most people think that the tattoo is aimed at an ex or someone, but it's not. It is aimed at the people who has made mark in my life. One whom is my Grandmother, she raised me right up until she passed away when I was 5, One of the most important people who has taught me a lot of morals in life and I keep everyone of them in my heart. It is also aimed at my Mummy and Daddy, who are both still alive, don't get it wrong, but I haven't lived with them since they moved out when I was 14 and I love them very much. And of course it is also aimed at my very close friends who has also shaped me to be the way that I am.

My overall experience of the tat, was very scary but at the same time exiting. People say that normally when a person is not screaming for pain during a tat it means that they are thinking of something, with some relation to the tattoo??, But I honestly couldn't remember, as I was concentrating on not laughing too much for the tattoo artist.
The overall process was really quick, it took less than 30 minutes. I guess the process did actually hurt, I also thought I would feel a little pain after it was finished, but all I got was just the feeling of my skin pulling together. So when I stretched it only pulled a little so it stung for a bit, but when I showered it went away again quickly. I was also on a hype after. it was probably the adrenaline. I really crave for that rush of adrenaline right now. Maybe another tat?

First time trying out Leopard Print nails :D

So yeah I really like Leopard Print, so this was really a must learn to do, and so I did :D
These were the steps: (Sorry I don't have any picture to explain myself, sorry)
1. Paint a bases coat (this protects your nails so very important).
2. One coat of nude (or whatever base coat colour you like) nail polish.
3. I used a clean fine paintbrush (size2) I don't use anymore and dipped it into silver (or any other colour) nail polish, and dabbing it onto paper to make sure it absorbed enough. If not feel free to dip it in polish again.
4. Looking at some leopard print try to adapt to the way the pattern goes and dab uneven splogdes over nail.
5. Leave to dry for a few minutes and then use another clean fine paintbrush and repeat step 3 (dip it into black (or any other colour) nail polish and dabbing it onto paper to make sure it absorbed enough. If not feel free to dip it in polish again).
6. Using the brush splodge around the silver marks using dabbing motions. Leopard prints are uneven and no one will notice if you don't have an identical pattern.
7. When that is done, Leave it to dry for a good 10 minutes, or whenever the polish has dried, this is because the next step
8. Paint a coat of clear nail polish just to set it all together. and not letting it dry enough will smudge it too much, however it doesn't matter if it smudges a little as it gives it more of a fur texture effect.
I hope the steps make sense if not feel free to ask me :)

Faded nails

This was the first time experimenting with fading nail polish.
The steps of the process goes:
(I know it's hard to explain steps with out images and that my image isn't as great as I didn't remember to take a proper picture of it...sorry)
1. Paint a bases coat (this protects your nails so very important).
2. One coat of nude nail polish.
3. Squeeze white acrylic paint on a surface (plate) and get some sponge (any kitchen or make-up sponge will do, the different textured sponges will give different results).
4. Create a 'U' shape in one hand between index and thumb and dab into paint.
5. Dab on to some paper so the sponge can absorb some paint and get rid on some excess (do this until it become a little tacky).
6. Dabbing motion apply a little to the edges to each finger tip (this does not need to be perfect on each nail it can get on the edges of your fingers but it's fine, you can clean it with a Q-tip after).
7. Paint another layer of nude nail polish.
8. Paint one layer of fine glitter al over (very small, little glitter polish. I use light pink/silver colour)
9. Paint the bottom half of your nails (the part where you have applied white acrylic paint) with a coat of course glitter (thicker and bigger particle glitter).
10. Apply a final coat of clear nail polish. This step only applies if you are happy and complete the look that I have.
Otherwise feel free to add some crystals or 3D nail art details :D
Have fun trying this out and let me know how it goes :)

Shaped Biscuits :D

This was produced out of total random mood back in 2009. It was the time I was working on a uni project and needed sometime out and so I made these.
Are they not just so cute? :D

Matalic Swan

I made this back sometime in 2007. I made it with some scrap paper folded in a specific technique and put together to form different shapes. This of which is a swan. I then decided to spray it my favourite colour as I didn't like the spots of black ink on paper on the swan.
