Why I have no savings :(

The main reason to why I have no money is because...
I am a girl who loves to shop!

I mean if I see something pretty I buy it,
I do question is it of any use? Errrrr.....Yes!
Is it worth the price? Errrrr.....Yes!
Would I be able to buy it another time? NO!!

LOL

I'm improving, I mean when I go shopping I don't always buy something, I window shop and look around and restrict myself with a limit of how much I spend and what I buy....I am trying I sometimes go off track...when I'm pissed off and need to vent, I know it's not a good thing :S

Also not all my money goes on clothes and stuff :P. But no it's true, I spend a lot of money on food and the essentials I need at home, because I buy a majority of my own stuff at home. :D

Aquafresh Milkteeth Toothpaste

Easter holiday is coming soon :) We know what that means...Chocolate Bunnies :D Yayyyyy!!!

The bunny looks evil!! It's also holding a drill to show the damage of sweets and chocolates on teeth...Brush your teeth kids...and adults too!! :D

My Easter holiday this year is going to be a lock-down with the bunnies due to the mass of university work I have to complete for May for my Final year Assessment for graduation!!!! :S

Mercedes-Benz illustration advertisement

Illustration is growing in advertisement design, this is one of the examples used for a Mercedes-Benz poster design. It is also used among other media like CD covers, certain magazine covers, surface design etc...
I'm not really an illustrator I find that I don't have a sense of drawing style that I work to, I mean I am capable of drawing and mimicking other drawing styles but not one of my own, and I think to be an illustrator or animator you have to have a certain style that you work to make your 'identity' I guess. There are some amazing stuff out there, some of which are fellow students on my course. I shall see if I can get my hands on some of their stuff to show :)

Angry Birds Rio

Rio is an animation, Brizilian/American animation film by Blue Sky Studios. It is to be release in April, some time but being the Uk, it'll probably be later than that!
As a promotion Angry Birds have come out with a game, This is also on a hype but is not out yet, I'm going to make sure one of my friends downloads it so I can play a few levels. :D
Angry Birds is an addictive game, I don't have it but when I get the chance to get my hands on a friends phone I will play it, I'm not too bad but, as I don't always play it, it gets some getting used to especially on different phones like htc or iphones 3gs/ 4.

Alter Native Organic Wine

This are the packaging/ labelling design for Alter Native Organic (Vintage) Wine from New Zealand.
I love the detail and texture. The embossing and de-bossing of the laser cuts, Amazing! I just want to touch them all for their texture!!! :)

Never been a fan of StarWars, or watched any of it but this is pretty funny on a different level...I'm strange in that way. :D

Apologies = Forgiving and Forgetting...Not always

I only just noticed that You never apologise?
It seems to me that you've never apologised to me...Oh wait maybe you did, Once. But you turned it over like nothing happened. Obviously you're not Sorry, because you still continue to hurt me.

Forgiving and Forgetting are two different things, and learning from them is another.

I do forgive and forget, but rarely both, it depends on the situation and how much that person has hurt me.
I don't hold grudges either, but if someone was to hurt me that badly I think might.
In my opinion no one is worth my time to care about, especially if they continuously do things that hurt or annoy me. There just little people making themselves look big.

I follow the PostSecret Blog

One of the blogs that I follow every-week and literally wait for every sunday is Post Secret it...is amazing on a different level.

I find that some of them are really sweet and some sad, and some really weird. But I'm not exactly normal, what or who is normal?, so who can judge? right?

Some of the 'secrets' reflects more than one person feeling. In a way postsecret is a way of making a person not feel alone, and showing that everyone has problems...which apparently has convinced people to not commit suicide, I'm not questioning it, it's a good thing if anything.

What I also find interesting is the 'graphic' or 'artwork' portrayed by different people to share their 'secrets', some of them are really well made and thought.
If your wondering I haven't posted anything to them.

Pancakes for Breakfast

Okay so this one was the first one so a little unsuccessful, the next one was a lot prettier promise! LOL
But with some strawberry jam it was yummmmmmmy :)
It was a lovely breakfast made mostly by my friend as it was her kitchen...I did make tea :)

Skull

I actually hate this! I'm also hate the idea of having these sort of things or the actual heads hung on walls.

This was basically hanging in the front room wall and the year my daddy moved out, I had to use something to cover my hand to remove this off the wall and bang it on the top shelf where I could not see it.

I'm not too sure of the animal...but a baby deer? Don't actually want to know or think about it, it's nasty!

I love this. Especially the strawberry one...I love strawberries and if I saw a packaging I'd buy it for sure!! Amazinggg!

Panda Ring

So a Panda came along and bit on to my finger! :O


^.^ I saw this ring in Accessories for £3 the other day when I was 'passing by' :D and I just had to buy it. Is it not cute??? Yesssssirrrr!!!

I thought this was...cute but strange...
I mean the design behind it is clever using the cows udder with in the design of the jug.

Shaking my Ass on the Wii fit

I haven't 'played' - 'worked out' in ages so I thought I'd give this a go. Playing on the Wii fit Aerobic Exercise hula hoop. This was my score :) I'm quite proud of this. I'm currently at the top spot from shaking my ass!! LOL...It was so tiring after! definitely burnt some calories...but resulted in eating chocolate cake :D Yumm.

The other 'games'? or 'workouts' are pretty good too. I like the yoga but like the balance games are a bit of a challenge because I just don't have any sense of balance at all!!! :S

Amazzzing!! I really like it, it's also very different and does not look like a box but a magazine collection.

Dorset Cereals Packaging

Packaging designed by UK based company 'Big Fish'.
Type face : ITC American Typewriter.

I got to admit this type of cereal packaging does stand out form the others in the aisle.
It has a clean modern feel to it using laser cut to reveal the cereal inside. The colours compared to other cereal is also more neutral I guess it reflects on the idea of grains, nuts and dried fruits sort of thing and it being a natural healthy cereal.

(hopefully your not the insecure type e.g. that will constantly call or text her until she replies)
and she does not reply with in the next few hours
(or giving how she usually replies you ASAP if she is not busy)
so you text her the next day
the same thing happens where she don’t reply you…

Don't give up...text her the next day (a different message), maybe it'll be 3rd time lucky...maybe 5th time lucky...

And I don’t think you need me to tell you this but
She might be slightly upset with you…for what reason you need to figure that out yourself, and saying
“Sorry for whatever it is that I did” does NOT make the situation better. It shows that you don’t care and you’re just apologising for the sake of it.
But admitting that you don’t know why she is upset with you and you’re willing to talk to her to find out what it is that upset her will make a difference.

It’s that or she wants
You to make more effort to giving her attention.
To see how much you really care for her.
Or (if she is that type of girl) you could buy a bunch of flowers and surprise her, she doesn’t mind if you feel like a douche in front of people because it shows that you care about her

It’s a little like reverse psychology.

Lioele BB Cream

I saw this at my friends house and really liked the packaging o.O" hehehe Don't you think its pretty?
So when she went back to Hong Kong again she sent me a tube of it :D
I haven't used it yet, but will definitely try it out soon, I'm doing this thing where I'm not wearing make-up for awhile :D

So yeah I asked her what it is and she said it's BB Cream....
Me: Huh? Errr What's that? :S

So she explained to me, and from what she said I get the understanding that
(This one is a Korean brand)
It first started in Korea and spreading to the rest of Asia, so
It's a well know beauty product in Asia.
It is a soothing and skin-regenerating product.
BB stands for 'Blemish Balm'.
Work for normal skin as a top-up and on sensitive and acne-prone skin.
It also has a foundation like cover on the skin, so it works as a moisturiser and foundation evening out skin tone and coverage for dark spots and blemishes (One less product to use I guess :D).

So over all good things...I just need to try it out :)
and more on the packaging..its different from any other standard UK product, especially the way that it dispenses. The logo is also very cute with the carrage, that reminds me of Cinderella :D

I'm going to miss...#2

Even though I’m happy that I’m going to be graduating this year…well I hope to graduate this year I know that I’ll miss it slightly.

Not the workload or the deadlines but the times I’ve had in and out of uni. I wouldn’t say the freedom, because I’ve always had the freedom to do whatever I like, but the freedom of not thinking about the grown up world of working and financially supporting myself etc.

In some ways I think that I’ve grown up too quick, too mature for my age. Well I was technically looking after myself from the age of 14, not financially though I still had my parents for that until I was around 18, when I started uni and lived on student loan and grant.

I literally did everything for myself, it's not like I never did anything around the house. My parents brought us- my sisters and me up on an independent level, we didn't get pocket money, if we wanted anything we have to earn it. I mean fair enough I had my sisters (x3) my oldest was really strict, almost like a mum- she was actually worse than my mum. My second sister was a "little helper" she always knew what to do. and the one just older than me, we never get along we always fight and she would always tell on me. So would I get any advantage of having 3 older sisters, No, it was a competition.

I spent weekends with my sister's helping my mum tidy the house, we all had our own chores to do, we all worked together, I learnt to clean after myself. So with my good behaviour and wanted a new toy, I would occasionally always get it. Growing up I would help my mum in the kitchen not cook, but to pass her things when she wanted it or to occasionally stir the food cooking and that was how I leant to marinate my food (Chinese style food).
On a level I really appreciate the way my parent have brought me up. I mean there are a lot of people who don't know how to look after themselves and have not done chores in their life, they are some what older than me too, and I'm 21. I mean, do you know how to work your washing machine? Do you know where the fuse box is in your house or flat? Because I do, I learnt at the age of 12.

I want to be a kid again and I wouldn't change a thing...well a few little things :)

This is pretty funny. I like the melon ones more as the orange and yellow are just coloured paper with the fruit sticker on it. But I think one of the yellow banana has a tint of green? But I still really like the idea.

Revisiting Mansfield Park, Jane Austen

I recently started reading Jane Austen's Mansfield Park. It is a book I've read before when I was around 15 and this was after I watched the film interpretation of the book.

My copy of the book actually belongs to my oldest sister, it's a bit 'rough' but you can only imagine the years. I guess you can say my sister is the one who inspired me to watch the films and get into reading the books.

I don't know why but I really like stories set in the 19th century. I also like the costumes as to why I like to watch the films and I'm too lazy to read a book, where it is summarised in film. Another of Jane Austens books I like is 'Pride and Prejudice'. 'Emma' and 'Sense and Sensibility' is next up.
I also really like Charlotte Brontes 'Jane Eyre'. When choosing a book to read it was between Jane Eyre and Mansfield Park.

I was reading this on the tube on my way home and I missed my stop. I stayed on the train to the next route, it took a bit longer as it was rush hour too, but I got to read more of it :)

My Nationality

I was asked what my nationality is...I'm 100% Chinese.
My Grand parents and parents are from Hong Kong. I was born and raised London.

I think being born and raised in a westernised way has made me less Chinese. People don't believe that I'm not half Chinese, or Japanese.
I think people think I'm half white mainly because I have big eyes, really pale skin, light hair and some blonde arm hair (yes the hairs on my top arm are mixed with blonde! and I don't bleach it!)

The most funny one was half Japanese and Brazilian...But damn that would be a hot mix! :D

Doughnut Bag

I was given this a while ago, I've never used it because it's too small I mean fair enough it does fit a fair amount of junk food for a few minutes but not big enough for my other non eatable junk.

I'm greedy

I'm a greedy person,

I don't want segments of something, I want everything or nothing.

I don't want a bit of something I want to have all of what is to offer.

You can't take a bite of a cupcake, it's too small I want the whole thing or nothing.
However there is nothing wrong with liking the icing once in a while.

I have this feeling where everything just seems like a blur.
It doesn't have an outline and everything is muted together.
I'm pretty sure I put my contact lens in this morning,
Yet I can't seem to define anything.

VCR Player

I really wish my VCR Player won't break. Well if it does hopefully it won't be expensive to replace, But anyway

Reasons for why I would not throw my VCR Player away
Well whilst on my tidying shebang I noticed
1. the amount of Family videos we have...32...Yes that little? =.=" Can't complain about not having enough family memorise starting from when me and my sisters were young (obviously) was around 10 I think...there were some missing years of growing up...but it soon followed up with my little brothers adventures. Good memories. But to the point, Yes I know with the new technology it is possible to burn the videos on dvd. But no! In my opinion it looses the authenticity, the feel and the meaning of Home "videos" they are videos! videos are on tapes!!!! Arghhh Hehehe

2. My Walt Disney Classic Collection. I actually don't remember having most of them, nor the story line. Well Cinderella was my favourite so that I will always remember. and the typical beauty and the beast, snow white, Alice in wonderland...Endless...but what the fuck is "The Rescuers Down Under" or "Fantasia" about??? I guess this calls for a Disney marathon :O Yes. Soon :D Anyway off track again. So once again I know you can now get them on DVD and they are 'better quality' But I don't care! It is what it is!. Also the video tapes itself mean a lot to me as they were mainly given to me and my sisters by my grandmother when we were young, I remember that When I stayed over at her house I would watch Cinderella on repeat. Play it all the way through and rewind it and play again and again...It was worth it. But unfortunately the tape is not really watch-able as the quality has gone a little :'( might just goon ebay and see if there is one on DVD I guess, just so I can watch it again :) but still keeping the tape! They are more than just Disney cartoons, they're my memory, my childhood memories.

3. Chinese Anime and Manga, Yes I have a lot of these, Dragon ball-Z, Sailormoon, Doraemon...and some other that don't have English names...or I don't know them. They really have the same value to me as the Walt Disney Collections I have. Except I have made some sacrifices and thrown a lot away already. And some of them (the boy like ones, Dragon ball-Z, Teenage Mutant Turtles...) I put into a box so my dad can take them to the house they - my parents and my little brother live in so he can watch them :D

I guess the contents of video tapes as well as the actual object itself, to me have a sentimental value rather than a material worth.
It's hard to let go of some things that have such great value, but I guess without throwing away old things, there won't be room for improvement or new things :)
